Introduction

Position: Japan Marketing Specialist

Location: Tokyo, Japan

The Marketing specialist is a key role in developing Zuvi's brand and market in the Japanese Market. Together with other team members, the specialist is responsible for the development of the brand and product marketing strategy, and the execution of product launch, marketing campaigns, promotion and advertising management, achieving excellence in every consumer touch-point.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Work with Zuvi Japan team members, and (PR, marketing) agency partners to create breakthrough consumer and professional communications in all touchpoints, from traditional media to digital data driven activations
  • Own content generation, identify key opportunities, and build plans to action
  • Coordinate all marketing related content, messaging and direction across the company and it's channels to ensure consistent messaging aligned with target groups
  • Work closely with sales department to develop sales forecast for Zuvi, from organic and project related activities
  • Manage brand awareness, penetration rates, as well as social media KPI's like engagement and follower base.
  • Partner with sales team to ensure correct promotional, channel marketing and account support is in place to reach objectives.
  • Provide Consumer Market Insight research plan in the Japanese market.
  • Provide performance and data analysis for future product development and market need-gaps

 

Key Skills

  • Experienced team leader with 3-5 years experience successfully managing strategic marketing, branding, and product management
  • Understanding and appreciation of fashion or premium lifestyle or home appliance industries for female
  • Exceptional financial acumen required including experience with budgeting and P&L management
  • Understanding of the digital ecosystem including Social Media, CRM, ecommerce and content
  • Strategic thinker and effective communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Have the mindset to identify issues and take action on your own in a startup environment
